OMG! Premium Base Coat White

SPECIAL NOTE:

Up until early June of 2010, all of our white paint (and spray systems) has also been sold by Becker Arena Products under either the "LuminIce Basic" or "Lumin Ice Pro" label. Because Becker Arena Products no longer represents our company, anyone looking for either of these products may purchase those them directly through Naf's Ice Paints.

There are many different ice paints on the market, but only a handful are really top quality. Naf's OMG! Premium Base Coat is one of them. "Not just another's ice paint", it is quite possibly the whitest ice paint on the market. How do we know? We applied it right next to other "premium paints." Every time, our OMG! product shows as whiter.

What Makes OMG! Base Coat White so great?

  • OMG! Premium Base Coat is a patented product that provides the whitest surface possible.
  • Small particle size makes for easy mixing and reduced clogging in sprayers.
  • Two-part formula allows for stronger mixtures to be made for extra hiding power.
  • Resists hose marks from clean hoses dragged on the paint.
  • Non-abrasive formula means no prematurely dulled ice resurfacer blades during cutout;
    skaters' blades will not stop if they hit paint.
How much paint do you need?

Each coat on an NHL sized rink requires 3 bags of paint. Indoor facilities can use between 6 and 9 bags to paint their ice white. We strongly recommend outdoor rinks use 9 bags of paint to help reflect the sunlight.

What is the best applicator for OMG! Premium Base Coat?
A spray wand designed specifically for painting ice rinks. We offer our own spray wand and painting systems for easy application of the base coat paint.

Some rinks paint the ice with a garden hose and sprayer. While it will make your ice white, this method uses up an incredibly large amount of paint (up to double the amount necessary) and can lead to uneven application leaving light and dark spots on the ice.

If you already have a spray system from another company, OMG! Premium Base Coat can be used in the system you have. Our non-abrasive, small particle size formula may be used in any commercially available ice painting spray system without damage. The only drawback is that you will not get as fine a mist out of other spray wands as with ours.
